BY THELITTLEBLOGOFVEGAN

It’s time for tea and the @thelittleblogofvegan is serving up some melt-in-the-mouth biscuits that you can decorate with sprinkles, icing pieces or dip in caramel and chocolate for a party treat.

Ingredients

Serves 3-4

  • 250g butter
  • ½ cup icing sugar
  • ¾ cup cornflour
  • ¾ cup custard powder
  • Approximately 1 ½ cups plain flour, to make a soft dough.
  • 1 tsp vanilla essence

Method

Preheat your oven to 180°C

In a bowl cream together, sugar and butter till light and fluffy. Add vanilla essence and mix that in. Add the cornflour, custard powder and plain flour just enough to make a soft dough that you can pipe through a star nozzle.

Pipe finger like shape on a baking tray. Bake for 10-12mins until lightly golden.

When cool dip the ends in melted chocolate and decorate with sprinkles.
