    It’s time for tea and the @thelittleblogofvegan is serving up some melt-in-the-mouth biscuits that you can decorate with sprinkles, icing pieces or dip in caramel and chocolate for a party treat.

    Ingredients

    Serves 3-4

    • 250g butter
    • ½ cup icing sugar
    • ¾ cup cornflour
    • ¾ cup custard powder
    • Approximately 1 ½ cups plain flour, to make a soft dough.
    • 1 tsp vanilla essence

    Method

    1. Preheat your oven to 180°C
    2. In a bowl cream together, sugar and butter till light and fluffy. Add vanilla essence and mix that in. Add the cornflour, custard powder and plain flour just enough to make a soft dough that you can pipe through a star nozzle.
    3. Pipe finger like shape on a baking tray. Bake for 10-12mins until lightly golden.
    4. When cool dip the ends in melted chocolate and decorate with sprinkles.
